Analysis of the causes of skewing of bimetal band saw blades
When the saw blade is running on the saw machine, various faults will always occur, among which sawing skew is a common fault.
The so-called skew refers to the tilt of the saw blade when cutting materials. Generally speaking, the more common sawing methods are external grinding and simmering. This is mainly because the band saw blade was not clamped poorly during installation. The saw blade is not vertical. The more difficult side will always be more difficult. Easily damaged by pressure and sawing deviation occurs. Of course, the generation of saw skew also involves the operator's skills, the adjustment of the saw machine, etc. Below we analyze in detail the reasons for sawing skew.
The first is the reason for the sawing machine. The saw machine works unstable due to leakage in the hydraulic system or out-of-control speed control valve. The operation of the saw machine is unstable, and the band saw blade is prone to tilting. If it is tilted, it is easy to cause sawing failure. In addition, if the distance between the left and right guide rails of the sawing machine is too large, or the pulling force given to the band saw blade is insufficient, resulting in wear of the guide rail block or poor clamping of the saw blade, it will directly affect the service life of the band saw blade. The quality of the sawing will eventually lead to sawing skew problems.
Secondly, the saw is skewed due to improper operation by the operator. According to survey statistics, most of the causes of sawing are improper operation. For example, after the saw blade is installed, the saw blade is directly used for high-speed cutting without inspection and adjustment. Secondly, after the saw blade has been running for a long time without rest, the remaining impurities on the band saw blade are not cleaned, causing the saw blade to wear out prematurely during the cutting process, or the saw teeth to break, causing the saw to skew.
