Selection of saw blade tooth shape

Dec 06, 2022

Commonly used tooth shapes include left and right teeth (alternate teeth), flat teeth, ladder flat teeth (high and low teeth), inverted trapezoidal teeth (inverted tapered teeth), and rare industrial grade three left and one right, left and right flat teeth etc.
1. The ladder flat tooth is the most widely used, and the cutting is relatively smooth. It is suitable for cutting and sawing all kinds of soft and hard industrial aluminum profiles and aluminum alloy radiators.
2. The flat tooth saw edge is rough, the cutting speed is slow, and the grinding is the easiest. Mainly used for slotting sawing, the cost is low, and it is mostly used for aluminum saw blades with smaller diameters to reduce adhesion during cutting, and used for slotting saw blades to keep the groove bottom flat.
3. The ladder flat teeth are a combination of trapezoidal teeth and flat teeth, and the grinding is more complicated. In order to prevent adhesion, saw blades with more ladder flat teeth are often used for aluminum saw blades.
4. The left and right teeth are most commonly used in sawing aluminum rods and aluminum plates, and the sawing speed is fast. To sum up, the left and right teeth should be selected for sawing aluminum plates and aluminum rods, which can cut wood fiber tissue sharply and make the incision smooth; in order to keep the groove bottom flat, use flat teeth or use left and right flat combination teeth; Aluminum profiles generally choose ladder flat teeth.
