[Saw Blade Grinding] How to Grind Alloy Saw Blade Grinding Method
How to sharpen alloy saw blades
As industrial consumables, alloy saw blades will have many problems after a long period of sawing: for example, the blade is blunt and the cutting is not sharp enough; there are lines and burrs on the surface of the workpiece, and the material loss is large; the sawing sound is noisy and uneven; the saw teeth are not sharp and produce smoke, etc.! But many customers don't know that these problems can actually be solved by re-sharpening the saw blade!
Is your alloy saw blade sharpened correctly?
So how to sharpen the alloy saw blade? It is not like ordinary knives. Just trim the blade part in the correct grinding direction. The alloy saw blade itself is more complicated than ordinary knives and consists of a saw plate and a blade head. The problems that arise after the alloy saw blade is also different, and targeted grinding is required. Therefore, if you want to sharpen the alloy saw blade well, you not only need to be equipped with a professional gear grinder, but also need skilled and experienced workers to complete it.
Grinding standard of alloy saw blade for cutting tools
First, use a detector to check the damage and degree of the alloy saw blade. The tip of the alloy saw blade is prone to cracking or breaking, or scars and missing corners. The saw plate is easily deformed by high temperature during the sawing process. As long as the damage is not very serious, it can generally be ground. After the inspection, the alloy saw blade will be cleaned. After the alloy saw blade is used under various complex conditions, there will be adhesives on the surface. The tool will be cleaned with special equipment. Only after the cleaning is completed can accurate grinding work be performed.
Generally, the back of the alloy saw blade is ground first. The back of the tooth must be ground to shape to ensure the discharge of chips. The grinding time is too short to ensure that the alloy saw blade chips are smooth. Generally, skilled workers can master the grinding time. Then change the teeth, especially the teeth with obvious scars or missing corners, need to be replaced one by one. And re-grind to ensure that the height difference meets the standard.
Then the flatness of the alloy saw blade will be tested, especially the center and side vibration of the alloy saw blade must be re-measured. Then correct the deformation. The distortion correction of the alloy saw blade is the key to high-quality grinding of the saw blade.
The grinding of alloy saw blade teeth must be done with a special grinder, a high-count diamond grinding wheel, and a fully automatic gear grinder imported from Germany. It is equipped with technicians with 15 years of grinding experience, who can grind the front and rear angles according to the original angles to ensure the sharpness of the alloy saw blade head.
After all the alloy saw blades are ground, the relevant parameters will be tested again to see if they meet the factory standards, and each ground saw blade will be tested and cut before leaving the factory. Only qualified ones can be shipped. Finally, the blade head will be protected and the saw body will be sprayed with anti-rust oil.
