WAGEN Fire Drill Activity

WAGEN recently held a fire drill to increase the safety awareness of employees. Although this fire drill has exposed some problems, we must take a positive view. Through this exercise, we further understood the importance of safety awareness and fire protection knowledge, and also clarified the need to further improve fire protection facilities and strengthen training and education.

First of all, the on-site fire alarm device is not comprehensive, and some workshops cannot clearly hear the alarm bell. This problem needs our attention, we must carefully analyze the cause, find out the problem, improve the configuration as soon as possible, and ensure that every corner of the entire factory can respond to the alarm signal in time.

Second, the number of participants reported by the department did not match the actual number of participants. This is also a management issue, and we should strengthen the sense of responsibility of the department to ensure the accuracy of statistical data. Otherwise, the effectiveness and authenticity of the exercise will be affected, and even loopholes may appear.

In addition, there is also a phenomenon that the reset of the fire alarm device is unsuccessful. Although we discovered and solved this problem in a timely manner during the exercise, we cannot take it lightly, and the equipment still needs to be carefully inspected and verified.

Finally, some employees are not serious and formal. This problem is relatively common, and it may be that for some employees, fire drills are a tedious task, and they lack a sense of participation and experience. Therefore, we should pay more attention to education and training, and make the practice process more lively and interesting, so as to improve their awareness and attention to fire safety.

In short, fire safety is a continuous project that requires us to continuously strengthen and improve. We must acknowledge the fact that the problem exists, proactively solve the problem, further improve the ability to respond to emergencies, and ensure the safety of the enterprise and employees.
